Verification of Digital Badges Policy:

At ABC Server Training, we take pride in ensuring the authenticity and transparency of our certificate program. In line with this, we have established the following policies and procedures for verifying digital badges issued to our certificate holders.

  1. Issuer Verification: The digital badge issued shall clearly indicate that it was issued by ABC Server Training. This information can be verified by clicking on the badge and accessing the metadata associated with the badge.
  2. Certificate Holder Verification: The digital badge shall also indicate the name of the certificate holder who has earned the certificate. This information can be verified by clicking on the badge and accessing the metadata associated with the badge.
  3. Certificate Purpose and Scope Verification: The digital badge shall clearly state the purpose and scope of the certificate earned. This information can be verified by clicking on the badge and accessing the metadata associated with the badge.
  4. Requisites Verification: The digital badge shall indicate the requisites that the certificate holder must have fulfilled to earn the certificate. This information can be verified by clicking on the badge and accessing the metadata associated with the badge.
  5. Certificate Issue Date and Term Verification: The digital badge shall indicate the date the certificate was issued and the term of the certificate. This information can be verified by clicking on the badge and accessing the metadata associated with the badge.

Certificate is Non-Transferrable

This communication is regarding the conditions for the use of your issued certificate from ABC Server Training.

The certificate issued to you is a recognition of your successful completion of our Allergen Awareness, Food Handler, or Food Manager course and demonstrates your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. It is important to note that your certificate is non-transferable and can only be used by the individual named on the certificate.

We encourage you to display your certificate with pride and to use it as a representation of your achievements. However, we also ask that you use it ethically and in accordance with the conditions outlined in the certificate program policies and procedures.

Certificate Not Transferrable or Editable

We wanted to take a moment to remind you that the ABC Server Training certificates are non-transferable and are only to be used by the individual to whom they were issued.

In accordance with our policies and procedures, certificates may not be transferred, sold, or otherwise provided to another individual. Doing so is a violation of our policies and may result in the revocation of your certificate.

Certificate Requisites

The process for determining that all certificate requisites have been fulfilled and verified at ABC Server Training involves the following steps:

  1. Learner Progress Tracking: The learner’s progress is tracked throughout the course to ensure that all course requirements have been met. This includes completion of all modules, quizzes, and assessments.
  2. Final Assessment Review: Upon completion of the final assessment, the results are reviewed to ensure that the learner has achieved the minimum passing score as established by the certificate program.
  3. Verification of Learner Identity: To ensure the security of the assessment, the learner’s identity is verified through the use of secure login credentials and/or proctored exams.
  4. Review of Learner Requirements: A review of the learner’s file is conducted to ensure that all requisites for the certificate have been fulfilled, including completion of all required training, adherence to ethical and professional standards, and any other requirements as established by the certificate program.
  5. Approval for Certificate Issuance: Upon completion of the above steps, the certificate program management team approves the issuance of the certificate to the learner.

The above process is designed to ensure that all certificate requisites have been fulfilled and verified before the issuance of a certificate to the learner.

Certificate Issuance Policy

ABC Server Training has established the following policies and procedures for issuing certificates and stakeholder communications regarding their use:

  1. Certificate Issuance: Certificates will be issued to individuals who have successfully completed the required coursework and assessments for the relevant certificate program.
  2. Certificate Format: Certificates will be issued in a digital format and will include the individual’s name, the certificate program, the date of completion, and the certificate number.
  3. Verification of Completion: Individuals may request verification of their certificate completion by contacting ABC Server Training. Verification will be provided in a timely manner and will include the individual’s name, the certificate program, the date of completion, and the certificate number.
  4. Stakeholder Communications: ABC Server Training will communicate the purpose and use of certificates to stakeholders, including employers and regulatory agencies. The communications will include the requirements for certificate issuance, the certificate format, and the process for verifying certificate completion.
  5. Misuse of Certificates: Misuse of certificates, including alteration or falsification, is strictly prohibited and will result in revocation of the certificate and potential legal action.
  6. Certificate Renewal: Certificates may need to be renewed after a specified period of time. The renewal process will be communicated to certificate holders and will include any necessary coursework and/or assessments.

By following these policies and procedures, ABC Server Training ensures that certificates are issued and used in a consistent and transparent manner, promoting the value and credibility of our certificate programs.

ABC Server Training’s Policy and Procedure for Communicating Assessment Results to Participants:

  1. Communication of Assessment Results: ABC Server Training will communicate the assessment results to participants within a timely manner, typically within 5 business days of the completion of the assessment.
  2. Method of Communication: Assessment results will be communicated either via directly through the learning portal or via email to the email address provided by the participant during registration. The email will include the participant’s name, assessment score, and a statement indicating whether the participant has passed or failed the assessment.
  3. Pass/Fail Status: Participants who score 70% or higher on the assessment will be deemed to have passed the assessment and will receive a certificate of completion. Participants who score less than 70% on the assessment will be deemed to have failed the assessment.
  4. Record Keeping: Assessment results will be kept on file for a minimum of 5 years and will be available for review by the participant upon request.
  5. Confidentiality: ABC Server Training will maintain the confidentiality of the participant’s assessment results and will only release the results to the participant, or as required by law.
  6. Dispute Resolution: Participants who have concerns about their assessment results may initiate a dispute resolution process by contacting ABC Server Training. The dispute resolution process will be handled in accordance with ABC Server Training’s Dispute Resolution Policy.

Personnel Qualifications

Our instructional personnel play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our certificate programs for Food Handlers and Food Managers.

All of our instructional personnel hold the following qualifications:

  • Relevant degree or certification in education, food safety or a related field
  • Extensive experience in the food industry, including hands-on experience in food handling and preparation, food management practices, and food safety regulations

  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and the ability to adapt to the learning needs of a diverse student population
